Introduction
GYCE’s international study tours and camps connect young people with diverse cultures, environments, and learning ecosystems around the world. Each program is designed to provide immersive, experience-based learning that fosters cultural understanding, global perspective, and personal growth.
Through hands-on activities, meaningful local engagement, and guided reflection, participants develop the skills and mindset needed to navigate an increasingly interconnected world.
WeGlow China Camp
This immersive program introduces students to both contemporary China and its deep cultural roots. Participants engage with local schools, community organizations, and youth groups while exploring major cities and regional communities.
Through project-based learning, leadership activities, cultural visits, and cross-cultural dialogue, students gain insight into social development, innovation, and community values in modern China.
Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshops
This program connects students directly with the artists and knowledge keepers who preserve China’s living traditions. Workshops may include handwoven textiles, lacquer art, bamboo carving, folk dance, and traditional musical practices.
Students gain hands-on creative experience while also developing a deeper understanding of cultural continuity, historical meaning, and heritage preservation.
Southeast Asia Cultural Discovery Trip
This regional journey explores the cultural, historical, and ecological diversity of Southeast Asia. Programs may include destinations such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Through visits to heritage sites, local schools, ecological centers, and community spaces, students build cross-cultural communication skills and a richer understanding of the region’s shared and distinct identities.
Japan — Hokkaido Exploration Camp
Set in the landscapes of Hokkaido, this program combines environmental learning, cultural immersion, and outdoor leadership. Students participate in activities such as wildlife observation, sustainable farming, community-based cultural experiences, and seasonal outdoor adventures.
Through reflection and guided teamwork, participants build resilience, self-awareness, and appreciation for the balance between tradition, nature, and modern life.
European Innovation & Culture Tour
This program introduces students to Europe’s unique blend of history, creativity, and innovation. Participants explore cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, or Berlin while engaging with museums, science centers, startup spaces, and cultural institutions.
Workshops and discussions focus on global citizenship, design thinking, and social innovation, helping students understand how different societies approach progress and multicultural coexistence.
Oceania Eco-Exploration & Indigenous Learning
This program immerses students in the ecological richness and Indigenous knowledge systems of Australia and New Zealand. Activities may include marine conservation, wildlife ecology studies, cultural workshops, and outdoor leadership experiences in natural environments.
Students learn about biodiversity, environmental responsibility, and Indigenous perspectives on land stewardship, gaining a deeper sense of global ecological awareness.
